JTYPEI®NA,PEI natural rod is a profile made from pure Polyetherimide (PEI) material. Engineered polyetherimide  is an amorphous polymer with a high glass transition temperature of up to 217°C, offering mechanical properties comparable to PEEK, as well as excellent heat resistance, insulation, and flame-retardant properties.

This product is suitable for high-stress, fatigue-stress, or impact-stress environments under high temperatures, such as automotive components or interior/exterior parts, semiconductor processing, precision bearings, mechanical load-bearing parts, wind power equipment or new energy battery components, and electrical systems.





● High tensile strength, over 110 MPa

● High flexural strength, over 150 MPa

● Excellent thermo-mechanical load-bearing capacity, with a heat deflection temperature greater than 200°C

● Good creep and fatigue resistance

● Excellent flame-retardant properties with low smoke emission during combustion

● Outstanding dielectric and insulation properties

● Excellent dimensional stability with a low thermal expansion coefficient

● High heat resistance, thermoplastic polyetherimide, suitable for long-term use at 170°C

● Microwave transparency


Application Fields

JTYPEI®NA pure PEI profiles are applied in:

— Mechanical engineering industry

— Semiconductor and electronics industry

— Automotive industry

— Household appliance industry


For turning or milling, remove the surface heat treatment aging layer, generally by 0.2 mm.

For milling, use tungsten steel tools designed for aluminum.

For drilling, start with a small hole and then expand to the desired size, avoiding direct drilling with large-diameter bits.

During processing, ensure adequate cooling with cutting fluids to prevent material burning and tool adhesion.

It is recommended to use water-soluble cutting fluids.


Product Storage Instructions

Store away from light, moisture, and oily substances.

If not in use, wrap the product in protective film.
